SPARK PLUG THREAD REPAIR KITS spark plug stripped,spark plug threads stripped,stripped.
These kits are considered "Over the fender" meaning you do not have to remove the head.

MEASURING INSERT LENGTH

To measure correctly for the length of insert you need for your application. Measure from under the spark plug (Washer) or (middle of taper for tapered seat) to the last thread. (Not to the end of the electrode). This will give you the correct length. TIME-SERT inserts cannot be shortened. (click here for measurement)

M14x1.25 Inserts are also available in aluminum click here: normally used in racing applications, where Nitromethane is used as a fuel. Steel inserts typically have a higher tensile strength than aluminum.
